Carl O. Rowe, CMC

Carl Rowe is CLARITY Advisors to Management's founder and Senior Consultant. Rowe's professional consulting career began in 1973, while employed by the federal government. He left federal service in 1983 to start his own consulting practice and over the ensuing years worked with a variety of public and private sector clients. Rowe is a highly regarded executive with a reputation for successfully guiding and turning around troubled organizations, particularly in the public sector. He has served in both interim and permanent roles as the head of several Southern Nevada agencies, including the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and the Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and Clark County Housing Authorities.

As a Certified Management Consultant, Rowe is known for his skills as a facilitator. He successfully assists client teams in developing workable strategic and operational plans and has helped clients resolve serious organizational issues, including those involving sensitive interpersonal conflicts. In addition, Rowe possesses excellent analytical skills and has helped clients in their decision making regarding product marketing, services being rendered, and selling their businesses.

Rowe also gives freely of his time to several community and civic organizations. He has been a very active member of the Chamber of Commerce and is a longtime Board member of Opportunity Village. He also volunteers in the School District's mentoring project

Among Rowe's honors are having been named in several Who's Who publications (America; Finance and Industry; the West; the World) as well as in Distinguished Men in Nevada, the Las Vegas Business Press Top Fifty over Fifty, Who's Who in Southern Nevada Business, and America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals.

Carl received a Bachelor's Degree, cum laude, in Government and Politics from George Mason University and a Master's Degree in Urban Affairs from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has also completed hundreds of hours of professional development work.

Carl and his wife, Dale, a training and development professional, have lived in Las Vegas since 1988.
